As a party member and cadre, I am implementing EPC projects overseas in TKEC. Kenneth Kaunda International Airport is a national key project in Zambia, and the Zambia Airport Power Supply Project is a power supply supporting project for Zambia Capital Airport. The project has laid an advantage for the capital airport to be put into operation as soon as possible. At the same time, it has very important political significance. It has been inspected and highly affirmed by high-level government officials such as the special envoy of the President of Zambia, the Minister of Energy, and the Minister of Housing and Urban-rural Development.

The Guinea KISSOSSO Project is a key project of the Guinean Ministry of Energy. The project is located in the capital Conakry. After the project is completed, it can guarantee the stability of electricity consumption in Karum District, the political center, and all electricity consumption in Matoto District. The project department has broken ground since November 2020. Faced with the impact of factors such as the epidemic, rainy season, coup d’etat, and limited construction due to the small site, the project department, together with the employer and consulting, actively researched plans, schedules weekly, and constantly overcomes various difficulties to ensure the orderly progress of on-site work. The project department has a unified mind and firmly believes that there is no longer road than feet. We will always run on the road of Serving Global Power!

My name is Wu Jialiang, and I am currently affiliated to the Nigeria World Bank Phase I Project Department of Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. After graduating in 2014, I joined Taikai Group. I have worked so far and can proudly say that I am an old employee of Taikai.

In 2018, under the unified scheduling arrangement of the company's leaders, I was fortunate to go to the project department to experience myself. Since participating in the work of the project department, I have mainly completed the elimination of shortages of the 132kV Ubungo project in Tanzania, the start-up of the 220kV Mufindi-Sumbawanga project in Tanzania, the implementation and elimination of shortages of the 220kV Makambako-Songea project in Tanzania, and the completion of part of the REA project in Tanzania, the implementation of the 220kV Bulyanhulu-Geita project in Tanzania under the whole project cycle and successful energization on time and the implementation of the 330kV World Bank TR1A Lot2 project in Nigeria.

In the past work, I can strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the group company, resolutely implement the company's work arrangements, and earnestly complete the project implementation tasks. I can confidently say that I am a qualified Taikai person. In the later work, I will be based on my own post, and will continue to uphold the corporate tenet of Pursuing the Perfect and Contributing the Society, carry forward the corporate spirit of Honest, Trustworthy, Pragmatic and Innovative, work steadfastly. With a high sense of responsibility, firm execution, and quality and quantity to complete the set goals, I strive to be an excellent Taikai person on the basis of a qualified Taikai person.

Youth is not about watching fire from the other side, struggle is for the next exciting! In the later work, with the strong support of the company and under the haze of the Covid-19 pandemic, all the project staff can concentrate and play the leading role of party members, overcome difficulties, and complete the project goals with quality and quantity.

Overseas Work Deeds - Wang Xichang

Wang Xichang, male, became an official party member in October 2017. He is currently the commercial manager of Kenya's 220kV Kamburu-Thika Power Transmission and Transformation Project ("KT Project").

From 2017 to 2018, I worked as a commercial manager in the general contracting project of 220kV Makambako-Songea substation in Tanzania, which was the first overseas general contracting project I participated in. With the support of the company and the joint efforts of the project team, overcoming a series of challenges such as remoteness of the site, traffic congestion, tight construction schedule, consultation and strict requirements of the employer, the project was completed ahead of schedule and delivered electricity. The completion certificate issued by the employer shall be obtained within three months after the power transmission, and the full contract payment shall be recovered within three months after the employer issues the project handover acceptance certificate. From the date of completion, within 18 months of quality defect liability, the project runs smoothly, safely and reliably. The project's early completion and smooth operation have been highly praised by the employer's executives and the Tanzanian government. I also received a letter of commendation and recommendation from the employer.

In 2021, in the KT project, I have served as the business manager. This project is the first overseas financing project of TKEC that has been successfully and officially launched. The project amount is about 500 million yuan (the part of which is in charge of TKEC). The financing party is the Export-Import Bank of China. Currently, the project is on schedule. 

During the implementation of projects overseas, I strictly abide by Chinese and local laws and regulations, implement various management systems of the group and the company, respect local customs and customs, and live in harmony with the government departments, owners and local residents of the country where the project is located. In my daily work, I actively publicize the achievements of my country's socialist modernization drive, introduce the good policies and good systems adopted by our party in national governance that are conducive to economic construction and improve people's living standards, improve the country's credibility, and enhance the country's sense of honor.
