Egypt MN 230kV Substation Project
Client: Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company<br/> Scope: A new 230kV substation<br/> Overview: As the first project of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company signed by TKEC in 2014, the project site is located in the urban area of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Our company and the Egyptian Sewedy PSP Company formed a joint venture to contract the project, and our company is the leader of the JV. The project is funded by European Investment Bank (EIB), and with EPS, an Egyptian electricity consulting company as the client's consulting company. After the project was completed, it was listed as a model project of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company and has been running well so far.

Pakistan DMJ Substation Project
Client: Pakistan PEL Company<br/> Scope: 230/132kV substation EPC <br/> Overview: The Pakistan DMJ Project is an EPC project won by the Joint Venture of Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and Pakistan PEL Company, and our company is the leader of the JV. This project is the first 230/132kV substation EPC project won by Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. in Pakistan. The project was completed and a certificate of completion was received in May 2018, and a certificate of acceptance was received in July 2018.

Tanzania MS Substation Project
Client: Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited<br/> Scope: Design, supply and installation of 3 220/33kV substations <br/> Overview: The project is located in Tanzania, Africa. The consulting company is Sweden's Sweco. The construction period is from September 2016 to September 2018. The project includes 3 220/33kV substations, which is a key construction project of Tanzania’s power grid. After completion, it opened up the main power artery in southern Tanzania. The project was successfully energized in September 2018 and the certificate of Completion has been obtained.

Rwanda 220kV Substation Project
Client: ENERGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED <br/> Scope: 220kV B Substation and incoming bay expansion of 220kV S Substation <br/> Overview: The Rwanda 220kV Substation Project is an EPC project contract signed by Joint Venture of Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and CAMCE in December 2018, It is the first 220kV substation EPC project implemented by Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. in Rwanda. The completion certificate of the S Substation of the project was received on April 25, 2021, and the B Substation was also successfully energized in October 2021.

Client: Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited. <br/> Scope: New 220/132/33kV Hoima Substation and New 132/220kV Nkenda Extension Substation. <br/> Overview:In August 2015, Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) signed the Uganda 220kV NH Substation Project. Funded by the French Development Agency and with FICHTNER as the consulting company, The project was officially started in December 2015, and the energization was successfully completed in April 2018, and it has been running well so far. The completion of the project will greatly enhance Uganda's power transmission and transformation capabilities and “charge” the local economic development.

Tanzania GB Substation Project
Client: Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited<br/> Scope: A new 220/33/11kV, 2×50MVA, outdoor AIS type substation. <br/> Overview:In August 2018, the Tanzania GB Substation and Transmission Line Project was signed. The project includes LOT A: Substation and LOT B: Transmission Line. Our company is responsible for the project execution of LOT A, which is the new 220kV G Substation and the 220kV B Substation’s expansion. The project is funded by OFID and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa with an Egyptian company as the consultant. The project officially started on January 16, 2019, and the energization was successfully completed on September 16, 2020, and it has been running well so far.

Client: Bangladesh Power Company<br/> Scope: 230/132kV AIS substation turnkey project, including design, supply, installation, test and commissioning. <br/> Introduction: TKEC signed a project general contracting contract with the National Power Grid Corporation of Bangladesh (PGCB) on August 1, 2012. This project is the first general contracting project undertaken by our company alone. The civil work is carried out by our company. Client: Zambia Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development<br/> Scope: The new KKIA Substation (132/11kV), CHONGWE Substation, M1 Substation, Shopping Mall Switchyard and 7.5KM overhead line among substations. <br/> Overview: This project is a key project to provide power guarantee for the normal operation of the Zambian capital's international airport after its upgrade and expansion. Our company signed a subcontract with CJIC to undertake all the construction. The project was officially launched in August 2019. After 15 months of construction, it was completed and energized in November 2020. It was officially handed over to the client and completely closed in January 2022.

Jordan Amman East 132kV Substation Project
Client: National Electric Power Company<br/> Scope: 132kV AIS substation, covering the supply, installation and commissioning of complete AIS equipment such as 132kV circuit breakers, disconnectors, instrument transformers and surge arresters.<br/> Overview: The Amman East 132kV AIS Substation Project signed with National Electric Power Company in 2013 is the second project won by TKEC in Jordan. It provided strong support for ensuring the power supply of the Jordanian capital, and also provided brand impression and performance foundation for the subsequent bids for NEPCO’s EP complete design and supply projects.
