Tanzania REA 33kV Substation Project
Client: Tanzania Rural Energy Agency
Scope: Supply and installation of 11/33kV distribution substations.
Overview: In September 2013, Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and Tanzania Rural Energy Agency (REA) signed a project for 6 33/11kV substations in Tanzania - KIGOMA, KASULU, KIBONDO, NGARA, MBINGA and TUNDURU. Funded by the Tanzanian government and consulted by TANESCO, this project was officially started on January 16, 2014, and successfully completed the energization and certified as completed on September 30, 2015, and has been running well so far.
