Mozambique 110kV Substation Project
Owner:Mozambique Electricity Company
Scope:Construction of two new 110/33kV Casa Nova & Temane substations; renovation and expansion of the 33/11kV Vilanculos substation.
Introduction:The project is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and is one of the key projects for rural electrification in the country. The construction period is 24 months. The main contract includes: the construction of the new 110kV/33kV Casa Nova and Temane substations, renovation and expansion of the 33/11kV Vilanculos substation, including the design of the substations, equipment procurement and supply, civil construction, electrical installation, testing and commissioning, as well as maintenance and repair work.
