Tanzania GB Substation Project

Scope:Construct a new 220/33/11kV; 2×50MVA; outdoor AIS type substation.
Introduction:In August 2018, a contract was signed with the Tanzania Electric Company for the Tanzania GB substation and transmission line project. This project includes the LOT A substation package and the LOT B line package. Our company is responsible for the project execution of the substation package LOT A, which involves constructing a new 220kV G substation and expanding the 220kV B substation. The project is funded by OFID and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, with the consulting firm being an Egyptian company. The project officially commenced on January 16, 2019, and successfully completed power delivery on September 16, 2020, and has been operating well since.
