Introduction:In August 2015, Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. signed the Uganda 220kV NH Substation project with Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL). The project is funded by the French Development Agency, and the consulting company is FICHTNER. The project officially commenced in December 2015 and successfully completed power delivery in April 2018, and it has been operating well since then. The completion of the Uganda NH project will greatly enhance Uganda's power transmission and transformation capacity, providing a 'charge' for local economic development.
