Tanzania REA 33kV Substation Project

Scope:Supply and installation of distribution substations (11/33kV-LOT 1 and T station 11/33kV booster transformers)
Introduction:In September 2013, Shandong Taikai Power Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a project for six 33/11kV substations in Tanzania (Kigoma, Kasulu, Kibondo, Ngara, Mbinga, Tunduru) with the Tanzania Rural Energy Agency (REA). The funding for this project comes from the Tanzanian government's own funds, and the consulting unit is the Tanzania Electric Supply Company. The project officially commenced on January 16, 2014, successfully completed power delivery on September 30, 2015, and obtained a completion certificate. The project has been operating well since then.
