Zambia L Substation Project
Client: Zambia Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development
Scope: The new KKIA Substation (132/11kV), CHONGWE Substation, M1 Substation, Shopping Mall Switchyard and 7.5KM overhead line among substations.
Overview: This project is a key project to provide power guarantee for the normal operation of the Zambian capital's international airport after its upgrade and expansion. Our company signed a subcontract with CJIC to undertake all the construction. The project was officially launched in August 2019. After 15 months of construction, it was completed and energized in November 2020. It was officially handed over to the client and completely closed in January 2022.
